High scoring 6′ 6″ forward, Malik Tinsley, has signed with Polk Community College in Florida. Tinsley played this past season at Odessa CC in Texas. Tinsley is a former 1st team All-Public player from Philadelphia’s Frankford High School.
Tinsley was a recent participant of our workouts and played when the Polk CC coaches were in attendance.
Former Roman Catholic star Brian Wanamaker has signed with NAIA Div 1 powerhouse Texas Wesleyan. Wanamaker is coming off a very successful season at Lon Morris JC and was instrumental in their 26-6 record. He was another participant in our off season workouts that attracted coaches from accross the nation. Look for Wanamaker to play the point guard position for Texas Wesleyan.
Chris Angsomwine, 6′ 9″ F ,Accra, Ghana, has been playing very well in the Runhouse Workouts that have taken place over the past few weeks. Angsomwine came over on the Runhouse-Hoops Project in Sept 08. Look for big things from the quick big man. Early evaluations have placed him at a low to mid major level. He will continue to grow and develop as the summer wears on.
We recently conducted 2 workouts for area players and had alot of success in increasing their recruiting. A few of the players were able to earn scholarships based on their play in these workouts.

At 6′ 9″ 230lbs this kid is as tough as they come. Currently playing on the Nigerian 19u state team. He reminds many of a young Lamar Odom. 2/13/09 Update - In one of our fastest commitments to date Alinko has committed to a Div 1 Juco in Region 9 of the NJCAA. Aliko joins a growing number of players from Western Africa to reach the Juco ranks of USA basketball.
2/9/09 Update Ajibola Taiwo has made a verbal commitment to attend Daytona State Junior College next season. We wish Taiwo the best of luck and know you will have great success in Coach Andre’s program.
Taiwo is a 6′ 5″ shooting guard/small forward. Very dedicated to the game. He can shoot from way beyond the 3 point line and is a strong driver to the basket. Daniel Armah set a modern day Casper College school record by collecting 20 rebounds in a game vs Little Big Horn College. Armah also had 16 points en route to the teams 5th win in the last 6 games since his return. Armah was the first Runhouse-Hoops recruit out of Ghana and is doing well in his first season at Casper College.
Daniel Armah, 6′ 6″ G/F, played his first game last night for Casper College. In 19 minutes off the bench he recorded 11 points and 10 rebounds. Armah was the first recruit of the Runhouse-Hoops Project. The staff of Runhouse and the coaches at Cape Coast Hoops have full confidence in Armah’s success.

6′ 9″ Chris Angsomwine has arrived at Harcum College. Chris has promised to have a very productive year for Harcum and wants his countrymen back in Ghana to follow along online. He stated that one of his goals is to make Coach Claude Thompson of Cape Coast Hoops proud of his achievements both on and off the court.
Chris spent the weekend with his new teammates and coach and has adjusted well to life in the USA. He is especially fond of the food at the school and said he can’t wait to try an authentic Philadelphia cheesesteak.
