Devin Colston has committed to play for Coach Larry Blanks at Delaware Tech Junior College. The former Northeast high school star averaged 15 ppg, 5rpg and 4apg as a senior but took a year off from playing organized basketball to concentrate on academics. Colston is looking forward to returning to basketball and says “I believe Delaware Tech is the best situation for me. It’s a place where I can come and play my game and fit in with their offensive and defensive sets. I also know I will have no regrets. I can fit in both athletically and academically.
Coach Banks worked Colston out after he contacted us about available players. We knew Colston would be a good fit and recommended him. Coach Banks is “excited about landing Colston for the 2010 season.” He goes on to say that the team “expects great things on and off the court from Devin in the next two years.
Colston is another of the 2010 Showcase players that has recently signed to play for the upcoming season.

3) Melvin Williams, Vaux, University of Great Falls (by was of Lamar JC).
The Runhouse-Hoops Project landed another prize recruit today when the big fella arrived via bus. This kid is very athletic and blocks shots by the dozens. In the first workouts and scrimmages he has also displayed a nice assortment of post moves. We will be looking to place him for this summer or fall session.
