Euro Pro Coach Brian Carroll stopped by our office in Philadelphia last week to take in some games. Unfortunately there weren’t any games but we did stop by the West Oak Lane Jazz Festival to check out Al Jarreau. The music was great and our talk about local talent lasted for an hour. Coach Carroll will stop by again in August for one of our workouts to check out candidates for his team in the Euro League.  We agree to disagree on the most desired form of Jazz. Coach Carroll favors newer talent such as Gregg Karukas while I prefer Dizzy and Miles but we both agree that Jazz is the place to be.
