I had the pleasure last month to be invited to Retroaction Sports banquet at Philadelphia Community College to honor student athletes that achieved high academic honors. Jamal Green hosted the function and it was a very well planned and thought out event.

Among the most impressive honorees was Xavier Brown from Robeson High. Brown is a 2010 recipient of the Gates Millennium Foundation Scholarship. This scholarship will cover all costs of his college education for all 4 years.
