Q JonesBartram’s Quasim Jones exploded for 52 points including a record 10 three pointers enroute to 116 - 112 win for his team. This was the second game of the 2010 Showcase double header for unsigned seniors.  Jones played for Team Navy and he controlled the game throughout with his clutch shooting and strong leadership. The qualified Jones started the game hot and stayed that way throughtout. Team Navy was lead by Jone’s 52, Wanyae Hartsfield’s 16, Kenny Bey-Brown’s 12, rising 6′ 6″ Elijah Bradley’s 11 and Mike Wilson’s 10. Team Red was led by Jay Harris (29 pts), David Lawson (17pts), Kwahmere Gredic (14 pts),  Carl Wallace (15 pts, 10 rbs). Team Red also had two players that could not make the game until the second half but played strong 6′ 5″ F Andre Thomas (10 pts) and 6′ 4″ G Kyle Baldwin (10 pts).

The first game of the showcase featured a Team Green team that was lead by Frankford pg Rodney Walters’ 16 pts. Walters looked very strong and capable of leading a college team. He would make an excellent pg guard for someone’s program next year. Also scoring high for Team Green was Joseph McClain (12 pts), Kion Stokes (12 pts), Kion Coates (10 pts), Jabriel McCleod (10 pts) and Sadiq Berry’s 10 points. Team Red was lead by Devin Colston’s 14 points, Naquil Jones (14 pts) and Maurice Griffin’s 13 points. Final score was 93-77.
