Press Release (Philadelphia, PA, July 23,2009)
Dante Wooten, a 6′ 8″ forward out of Franklin Learning Center has accepted a scholarship to play at Panola Junior College next season. Wooten was known for his shot blocking ability out of high school but has worked hard on his offensive game. We had him in the gym a few weeks ago to record a workout video and we could really see an improvement in his shooting form. The effort paid off as he had 6 scholarship offers based on the video we shot.
Dante, Keep up the good work and put the numbers up that will make Philly proud. Your coaches (Rasool, FLC) have alot of faith in you. Panola has been known to score alot of team points over the years and we are sure you will have great success with that new and improved turn around jumper of yours.

Kilgore’s Head Coach Brian Hoberecht has this to say: ”Chris is an athletic forward who can score around the basket. He will have the opportunity to influence the game at both ends with his strength, athleticism and skill package. Chris is working extremely hard and is very coachable.”
